Shopify · Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and more
Switch platforms without losing your rankings.
- Starts at
- $15,000
- Typical timeline
- 8–14 weeks
We move online stores to Shopify from Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Lightspeed and other platforms. You keep your products, customers and order history. We protect your search rankings with a full redirect map. Your theme comes across adapted to Shopify. Most moves take 8–14 weeks and start at $15,000. The migration steps are the same whatever platform you’re leaving.
What’s included
- Platform review. We look at what your current store does and what’s custom. Then we decide what moves and what stays behind.
- Data migration. Products, customers, orders and content, mapped carefully and checked against the source.
- Theme adaptation. Your design comes across and gets adapted to a Shopify theme. This is part of the price.
- Full redirect map. Every old URL points to its new home, so links and rankings survive the move.
- Apps and integrations. We replace old extensions with Shopify apps or native features, and reconnect the systems that matter.
- Testing and cutover. We test orders and mobile checkout. Then we pick a quiet window to switch the domain.
How a project runs
We start with a short audit, then migrate a test batch of data into a staging store. You review it. We fix what looks wrong, run the full import and build the redirect map. The domain switch comes last, after everyone has tried the real checkout.
Pricing and timeline
A full replatform starts at $15,000 and takes 8–14 weeks. That includes adapting your theme to Shopify.
Price goes up with catalog size and with how much custom logic the old store has. More integrations add work. So do extra languages or regions, and subscriptions or wholesale pricing.
If you only need the data moved, we quote that separately, from about $3,000. You’d bring your own theme or design.
Proof
McEvoy Ranch is our Magento proof. We built their Magento store in 2016 and moved it to Shopify Plus in 2020. We still run the store today. We haven’t moved a store from every platform on this page. But WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Lightspeed stores follow the same process, with the same migration services.
Questions people ask
Will I lose my search rankings?
Some movement is normal after any move. We cut the risk with a redirect for every old URL. We carry over page titles and descriptions. After launch we check Search Console. We can’t promise rankings. We can promise a map with no missing pages.
Can you move from another platform?
Yes. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Lightspeed and others follow the same steps as Magento. Only the export format changes. Tell us what you’re on and we’ll check the data first.
How long will my store be down?
It shouldn’t be. The new store gets built and tested on staging while the old one keeps selling. The domain switch itself takes minutes. We schedule it for your slowest hours.
What about order history and customer accounts?
Both can move. Customers will usually be asked to set a new password the first time they sign in, because passwords can’t be carried between platforms.
Why Shopify?
It’s the only ecommerce platform we build on. We know where it’s strong and where it needs help, and we’d rather tell you that before the project than after.
